Natalie & Stacey’s Wicksteed Wedding
– A Day of Love, Laughter, and Carousel Magic!
Oh my gosh, where do I even begin with Natalie and Stacey’s absolutely gorgeous wedding at Wicksteed Park in Kettering?! This day was bursting with so much love, laughter, and pure joy – it was one of those weddings you never forget. Natalie and Stacey are such a fun-loving couple, and they made sure their big day was filled with moments that celebrated not just their love for each other, but also their family and friends.
The day kicked off in the most lovely, laid-back way at Church Farm Lodge in Harrington. With seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen, you can imagine the buzz of excitement! Everyone was running around getting ready, but Natalie and Stacey kept the tradition of staying apart until the ceremony.
Now, we have to talk about Natalie’s dress because it was absolutely breathtaking. She wore the most stunning fit and flair gown, made from a smooth crepe that skimmed her curves so elegantly. It featured a soft V-neckline and delicate straps, but the real showstopper was the scooped cowl back with beads strung delicately across it – such a unique, stunning detail. And, oh my goodness, the full-length petal cape! It draped along the floor as she walked, floating behind her in the most graceful way. To top it all off, a chic row of covered buttons ran down the back, adding a timeless, classic touch. When she stepped out in that dress, you could feel everyone’s breath catch – she looked like an absolute vision.
And yes, in true wedding fashion, Natalie was running a little late – but let’s be honest, that’s all part of the fun, isn’t it?!
The ceremony was held in the tower at Wicksteed Park, overlooking the sunken gardens and the beautiful stone water fountain. Honestly, it felt like something out of a fairytale! Stacey’s groomsmen kicked things off with a fun entrance, scattering flower petals down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids and Natalie’s Man of Honour. When Natalie appeared on her dad’s arm, walking down the aisle with her cape trailing behind her, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. She looked absolutely radiant, and the love between her and Stacey was so clear – you could feel it in every look they exchanged.
The ceremony was incredibly emotional, with both Natalie and Stacey sharing some beautiful, heartfelt moments. There were plenty of happy tears and warm smiles from their guests too – it was one of those ceremonies where love just filled the air.
After the vows, the celebrations moved outside to Wicksteed Park’s stunning gardens, where family and friends gathered for photos in front of the fountain and beautiful greenery. The gardens made the perfect backdrop for capturing some of the day’s sweetest moments, and it was so lovely to see everyone relaxed, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.
Then came the wedding breakfast, which was full of heartwarming speeches and laughter. The reception was beautifully decorated with such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere – it felt like one big family gathering, with people sharing stories and memories over a delicious meal. The speeches were a perfect mix of funny and touching, with everyone taking turns to toast the happy couple.
As the evening guests arrived and the band struck up, Natalie and Stacey kicked off the night with their fabulously choreographed first dance. They absolutely wowed everyone with their moves – it was such a fun and heartfelt moment, and you could tell they were just loving every second. After the cake cutting, the night took a magical turn as everyone was treated to a ride on Wicksteed Park’s carousel. The lights twinkling, the laughter ringing out, and everyone having the best time – it was like something straight out of a movie! The couple and their guests enjoyed every moment on the carousel, with smiles all around.
As the evening went on, the dance floor stayed packed with guests celebrating under the stars, and the whole day wrapped up with dancing, laughter, and pure joy. It was such a special day, filled with love and memories that Natalie and Stacey, along with their family and friends, will cherish forever.
Here’s to a lifetime of love, adventure, and carousel rides for Natalie and Stacey! 💖
